The solution appears to be turning off the automatic graphics switching and rebooting the laptop. ( it’s in the Energy Saver system preference panel)

Great article of Lawrence Lek on last BYOB - London, where I was very happy to participate.

I had a great vjing at that the 10 Anniversary of Drop Beats Not Bombs in Birmingham. Great night, amazing venue, cool crowd.

Here is a video from our last performance with Diarmo, at “Basilar Presents…” on the 21 Feb. Diarmo playing a live set of his new tracks and me, doing live visuals with new materials.
We also organised that AV night and the next one will be on the 30 May.

Basilar Presents…” is a new Audio/Visual night for eyes and ears from Basilar Records, coordinated by Diarmo and myself. The design is made with a photograph of a building taken in East London.

New video I’ve made for Claudio Crispo beautiful track Bring To Mind out on Basilar Records.

It’s made with live visuals using Modul8 and the WaveClock. The footage was filmed from a cable car in the Alps.

New artwork I’ve made for Basilar Records next release, Manouvre Never Should, coming out on the 16 January 2013.

The design is made with a photograph I’ve took in a train station in Switzerland.  

Here’s the new music video I’ve made for Quino’s track Up to you from Lost Transmission EP out on Basilar Records. A really nice track of minimal techno with an experimental touch.
The video is  abstract and colourful, made with 2 footage recorded from live visuals and then edited to make changes in the images and to synchronize it with the music. Enjoy!

Here’s the latest music video I’ve made for Diarmo’s track The Bends, from Vibrant Moody EP out on Basilar Records.
The video is made from live visuals with some editing. Those images are part of my Planet serie. Explosion of planets and colours, a different trip through space!

“In Bewegung” is the German version of “En Movimiento”, originally done in Spanish.
It’s a video talking about immigration and emotions and based on an interview done to 20 person from different origins living in Barcelona, Spain. The video is set up in the metro of Barcelona which is use as a metaphor of displacement and its inner repercussion.

The questions and answers, varying from a word to a few sentences are appearing during the progress of the video, mixing up with images and graphical elements symbolising the underground and its network.

The idea behind that work is to know what people feel when they move to a different country and how is the evolution of their feeling.

The questions are the following:
For what reason did you leave your country?
What did you feel when you left?
What did you feel when you arrived in Barcelona?
What did you feel after 3 months?
What did you feel after 6 months?
What did you feel after a year?
What did you feel after 3 years?
What do you feel now when you think of country?

In Bewegung is a piece also made to be played as a live video performance and was presented at the Mostra Sonora i Visual 2010, Domingo al Niu 2010, Nomadas del Siglo XXI: en Escena, 2009, in Barcelona, in collaboration with Maninthattic (Disboot) whose music, an electronic dub, deep and captivating, reinforced the dimension of movement and melancholia.

This version is a live recording of the video for which I use modul8 (vj software) as real-time editior. The video is compose of 60 loops done in video, flash, after effects.
The soundtrack is made with Manintheattic tracks from his Aztarna ep and mixed with field recording of the underground.
